UX - For those who are tech savvy, this may be more than just two alphabets written together and for those who aren’t aware of it, it is time to know it beyond mere alphabets. User Experience or UX is a term which defines the way a website design responds when the users try to use it. UX can be best described as a method of fulfilling the goal of making a website visually appealing as well as logical, lucid and equally empowering to use.
Bursting the bubble of online finance, UX design will not only change the realm of banking but also make it easier for the customers to handle all their financial affairs with a click of the mouse. The ultimate aim of UX design is to provide the users a clear pathway to the solutions that can be understood and adapted in every possible way.
An unprecedented growth of online banking has given rise to the need to keep the customers engaged via mobile and website. To keep them engaged, there has to be a medium that they will love exploring and the answer to this is UX.
Why a user-centric design approach is necessary?
The current mindset of the customers lies in handling all the affairs at the comfort of their homes. Banks function a little similar to the online stores these days, where the customers shop, look around for amazing deals from a variety of services, move swiftly and demand quick response. It may still take three days for a cheque to clear and that is not going to change any time sooner. However, with swift and simplified online transactions, the modern rendition of finance is being embraced by the customers.
Considering the extent of online finance and mobile banking emerging rapidly, it is essential for the financial organizations to make sure that their UX is commendable. Those who fail to keep their ultra-rich customers at ease by delivering user-friendly websites can see their bottom line being affected massively. This can happen as today’s world seeks for more comfortable and friendly solutions to sort out their queries.
Obvious benefits of having a good UX
A good website will work like a story teller and engage their customers as well as address to their needs. It not only allows the user to work logically but also in an easy and systematic manner. When all these factors blend well, a superior UX design will grant any financial institution, two much needed elements from their customers:
Trust Loyalty Online processes that make a customer grumpy can be trimmed down and made more accessible. This will eventually allow the customers to build a sense of trust towards a bank which is extremely essential. All these things will be bought at a common ground through a UX design.
Conclusion:
Ignoring the idea of “mobile first” and having an intuitive website design in a fast-paced world can be quite dangerous. Getting all the customer queries in line and granting them hassle-free service is the only way to conquer the world of online finance. So, getting the right UX on table is worth making an effort!
